Six days of festive fun and flash hosted by festival director, Jude Higgins, on Zoom.

Like the baking challenges in the popular TV show, The Great British Bake Off, there are three writing challenges for flashers each day, set by a duo of judges (a different pair of flash fiction writers each month).

Unlike the GBBO, there are prizes for each of the monthly challenges and no knock-outs. And there are winners of winners cash prizes at the end of the series. Plus a bonus cupcake-recipe hermit-crab micro contest each month.

And there is more! For the price of the £30 ticket, you can attend a one and a half hour workshops (one each month) with well-known flash fiction teachers and writers including: Kathy Fish; Nancy Stohlman; Tania Hershman; Christopher Allen; Meg Pokrass and Michael Loveday plus a series of 5 mini-dream workshops with Jude Higgins, and other half-hour talks and mini-workshops on aspects of flash; listen to readings from ‘flash addicts’, have zoom chats with friends and sign up for an early evening open-mic.
